Hassan Whiteside To Undergo Surgery On Knee

Hassan Whiteside has fallen from grace—if he was ever their to begin with. After slipping into the second round of the 2010 NBA Draft, Whiteside has seen his stock and game deteriorate to the point that he has become nonexistent on the Kings roster.

Whiteside has played in just one game this season, logging a total of two minutes, and was unimpressive in his 14 games in the D-League. As if that wasn’t enough for the young guy to deal with, he will now be sidelined 4-6 weeks when he undergoes surgery to repair a torn patellar tendon in his left knee, according to Jason Jones of the Sacramento Bee.
