Blake Griffin wasn’t his usual self last night against the New York Knicks, scoring just 21 points and grabbing six rebounds, but the Clippers managed to have six players in double figures and knock off the Knicks in Madison Square Garden. Griffin didn’t have any Mozgov-esq posterizing dunks like he did the first time the two teams met, but he did manage to outrun Amar’e Stoudemire on a full-court pass from Baron Davis and throw down a decent dunk.
Amar’e went down on the play, and seemed to stay down longer than necessary in an attempt to make it look like he got hurt on the play, but the reality is that the stronger Griffin knocked Amar’e down when the two jumped up to get the ball. Great going Must See BG, get yours.
