Ekpe Udoh To Debut Tonight Against Heat

Ekpe Udoh, the sixth pick in the 2010 NBA Draft by the Golden State Warriors, will likely make his debut tonight against the Miami Heat.

Udoh has missed the entire season so far after going down with a left wrist injury during the summer. However, the Oakland Tribune is reporting that Udoh has recovered from surgery and is now ready to play.

“I’m ready to go,” Udoh told The Oakland Tribune on Thursday. “Yes, sir. I’ve been working hard. If I get the opportunity, if my name is called, I’m going to give it my all.”

“I just want to get out there,” Udoh added. “I haven’t played since the Duke game (in the NCAA tournament).”

You would think debuting against the Heat would be a tough game to have your first NBA action, but maybe the Heat’s lack of size down low will help Udoh ease into the game.
