Hassan Whiteside tweeted a photo of his new “My Little Pony” backpack given to him by the Sacramento Kings veterans. Presumably this backpack was given to all Kings’ rookies, including DeMarcus Cousins and Pooh Jeter.
There seems to be some sort of fascination this year with NBA veterans and children’s backpacks. So far we have seen the Golden State Warriors rookies given Tinker Bell backpacks and the Indiana Pacers rookies given Princess backpacks.
If anyone has any specifics on when this backpack must be used/worn please share.
