Earlier today Paul George of the Indiana Pacers was chatting to fans on his USTREAM account (KingsofDale24) and at one point said he would consider entering the NBA All-Star Weekend Dunk Contest.
During the USTREAM session George showed fans video of himself performing various dunks, but none looked good enough to earn him a perfect 10 from TNT’s Kenny “The Jet” Smith.
Considering the fact that George didn’t partake in the dunk contest during the 2010 NBA Rookie Photo Shoot (because he didn’t bring the proper shoes), we don’t know what George is truly capable of. Although we can safely say the between the legs dunk in the above photo won’t cut it.
So what do you think: Should Paul George enter the dunk contest? Let us know in the comments if he should and what dunks you would like to see him perform.

I was at George’s USTREAM chat briefly, and almost asked him about the dunk contest.
As for having the dunks to participate, there are videos on YouTube (this one specifically: http://youtu.be/H51_RekGcb4) showing that he definitely has the skill, creativity, and vertical to perform some pretty exciting dunks.
And as a Pacers fan, I’d love to see another blue-and-gold Indy jersey on the floor at All-Star Weekend. I’ve wanted one since ’04, when Freddie Jones won.

I think 3 guys who are all ready in the league will be chosen first. Then there will be 3 rookies who will compete for the 4th spot . Fans will vote for the dunkers. Who I think should be there are JaVale McGee/Nick Young, Terrence Williams/Will Bynum, and Shannon Brown (since all star weekend will be in LA). The last spot should go to 1 of the 3 following rookies who will compete/campaign: Paul George, Terrico White and John Wall or Derrick Favors.
