Every NBA rookie gets hazed at some point. Most teams wait until the season starts, but unfortunately for Paul George of the Indiana Pacers Roy Hibbert got things going early. Hibbert explained that he had to bring food, drive to airports, and numerous other tasks during his rookie year. Obviously he was excited to get started hazing the new guy.
George was greeted by Hibbert with a megaphone demanding he come out of his room and change. Hibbert was waiting with a sombrero, Tamika Catchings jersey, and a pair of high striped socks. Then they took the streets to introduce George to his fans.
George seemed to be taking everything in stride. He posed for pictures, made jokes, and overall seems very excited for all that comes with being an NBA player, even if it’s being on the receiving end of some rookie hazing.
