Ekpe Udoh was in Salt Lake City recently to work out for the Utah Jazz and TRW was able to sit down with him for a one-on-one interview. Udoh has been climbing up draft boards and many (including us) are predicting he’ll go in the top ten in this year’s draft, which is now only about a week away.
Udoh shows a level of character and maturity that not many his age are capable of showing. Some believe that because of his age (23) and maturity that his upside is limited. This is a completely false notion as Udoh improved greatly in his one year at Baylor and shows a determination to improve every day.
The feedback from teams has been nearly unanimous in praising Udoh’s talent, demeanor, and potential. We have no doubt that Ekpe will hear his name called early, the only question left is which team he’ll be joining.
